What is Prostatis?

Prostatis is an infection of the prostate, in more accurate term, it is the infection, blockage of the prostate, seminal vesicles, spermatic ducts and epididymis. It affects many men and can become a chronic problem with debilitating recurrent prostate symptoms.

Prostatis

Please note that it is extremely important to obtain an accurate diagnosis before trying to find a cure for prostatis.  Many diseases and conditions share common symptoms: if you treat yourself for the wrong illness or a specific symptom of a complex disease, you may delay legitimate treatment of a serious underlying problem.  In other words, the greatest danger in self-treatment may be self-diagnosis. If you do not know what you really have, you can not treat it!

Knowing how difficult it is to weed out misinformation and piece together countless facts in order to find a real cure on prostatis, we now provide our prostate dr. insight on prostatis and the real cure.

Prostatis is a mysterious disease to prostate doctors and urologists. It is conventional view that prostatis is caused by bacterial infection, bacteria grow and hide in the prostate, after some time, the patient starts to feel the pain in the prostate area, he may seek help in prostate doctor's office asking for treatment on prostatis, and is given courses of antibiotics to kill the infection.

It is at this point that things become mysterious. Even after the bacteria have been killed, or should have been killed, the prostate pain sensations and discomfort symptoms continue. multiple courses of antibiotic are used and still there are a variety of prostate pain and symptoms. Prostate dr. feel that the prostate problem is unable to penetrate into the prostate and complete cure the infection, other prostate dr. think that the prostate infection is gone but the nerves may have been damaged and the prostate pain and symptoms remain. Today, no prostate dr. really has an answer to this mystery, but the fact remains that many continue to suffer with prostatis despite having been treated with multiple courses of antibiotics.

Prostatis Causes

There are three types of prostatis:

  • Acute infectious prostatis (bacterial prostatis) is caused by infection of bacteria and the prostate treatment is treated with antimicrobial medication or antibiotic. Symptoms of acute infectious prostatis are urinary frequency and urgency, burning on urination, lower abdominal pain and pressure, chills and fever, blood in urine.

  • Chronic infectious prostatis is also caused by infection of bacteria and the prostate treatment is antimicrobial medication or antibiotics. Symptoms of chronic infectious prostatis are urinary frequency and urgency, burning on urination, lower abdominal pain and pressure, chills and fever, blood in urine. While its prostate symptoms may not be as severe as acute infectious prostatis, it is a debilitating disease due to its chronic recurrent nature. Chronic infectious prostatis could seriously impact one's quality of life.

If you don't have a history of urinary tract infection, you probably don't have chronic infectious prostatis because chronic infectious prostatis is associated with repeated urinary treat infections. Other prostate symptoms may include urinary problems such as a sense of urgency, burning or painful urination, the need to urinate frequently, and possibly low-back and perineal pain.

  • Noninfectious prostatis (nonbacterial prostatis) is the term used by mainstream medical science for a kind of prostatis that after a thorough evaluation to eliminate infectious causes are found to be not caused by infection. This class of prostatis, chronic noninfectious prostatis, has been the subject of hot debate and much research and had been a problem to all prostate dr. that has been most difficult to treat successfully. It is a chronic recurrent process that have various degree of prostate pain and symptoms. Furthermore, its cause is still a mystery, and this class of prostatis represents a majority of chronic prostatis patients. Oral antibiotics or antimicrobial medications are not effective for this type of prostatis. Patients may have coexisting urologic symptoms, such as urinary tract infection.

Acute and chronic infectious prostatis are not usually considered sexually-transmitted diseases by the mainstream medical science, however, our prostatis center has found out that most cases of prostatis are caused by bacteria related to STDs. How the prostate got infected is not well understood and is the subject of many research subjects.

Our prostate dr. think that noninfectious prostatis is caused by infection, we found that most medical lab procedures are not to the standard and the lab results are not accurate, that is why most prostatis are classified as noninfectious.

Since some medical conditions or medical procedures may increase the risk of contracting prostatis, so you are at higher risk for getting prostatis if you have a urinary catheter or tube, inserted to the urethra during a medical procedure, have an abnormal urinary tract, have an enlarged prostate, have a voiding dysfunction, engage in oral sex or rectal intercourse, have had a recent bladder infection.

Prostate Signs & Symptoms Of Prostatis

The pain and symptoms of prostatis are nonspecific and similar to many other urologic and nonurologic diseases. Sometimes you may experience no prostate symptoms or mild prostate symptoms in the prostate gland, or symptoms so sudden and severe that you may have to seek emergency medical attention. Prostate symptoms, when present, can include any of the following: chills, fever, difficulty urinating, urinary frequency, frequent urination at night, burning or painful urination, joint or muscle pain, perineal pain, scrotum pain, anus pain, perineum pain, low-back pain, tender or swollen prostate, or painful ejaculation, blood in the urine.

Symptoms of prostatis are similar to those of other infections or prostate diseases. For example, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a enlargement of the prostate that is common in older men, may produce urinary tract symptoms similar to prostatis. Urinary tract symptoms are generally attributed to BPH which can be easily misdiagnosed as chronic noninfectious prostatis. Also urethritis, an infection of the urethra, may also cause symptoms related to prostatis.

There are another class of condition that mimics the symptoms of prostatis, prostatodynia. This prostate problem is not researched, many prostate dr. think it is related to spasm of muscles in voiding process. Patients with prostatodynia have pain and symptoms in the pelvis or perineum, these pain and symptoms may be caused by muscle spasms.

Because of the connections between the prostate, the urethra and the bladder, conditions affecting one or the other organ have similar symptoms. In addition, these conditions may occur concurrently in the same patient, thus complicating diagnosis and treatment by the prostate dr. A thorough evaluation and accurate diagnosis of the cause is important in establishing effective treatment in these prostate related situations.

Prostate Diagnosis & Tests of Prostatis

Since it is very difficult to make an accurate diagnosis on prostate infection, a few examinations are useful for correct identification of bacteria. Since the prostate is inside the abdomen, the prostate dr. cannot look at it directly, however, the prostate dr. can feel the prostate by inserting a gloved, lubricated finger into the rectum, this medical procedure is called digital rectal examination. The prostate dr. can estimate whether the prostate is enlarged, or has lumps, or abnormal texture and tenderness. digital rectal examination can provide accurate diagnosis in acute and chronic bacterial prostatis that are responsive to antibiotics.

Digital rectal examination is also widely used in detection of prostate cancer, The American Urological Association recommends a yearly prostate examination for every man over age 40 and an immediate examination for any man who develops persistent urinary symptoms.
Digital rectal examination is also widely used in the diagnosis of men with BPH.

Another prostate test performed on prostatis is prostate massage to collect prostatic fluid. When performing digital rectal examination, prostate dr. may vigorously massage the prostate to force a few drops of prostatic fluid out of the prostate gland and into the urethra opening. One may feel various degree of discomfort depending on infection of your prostate.

The prostate fluid collected is then analyzed under a microscope for signs of infection, urine is collected to search for the presence of white blood cells and bacteria.

Lab tests of prostate fluid will help the prostate dr. determine whether your prostate problem is an infection, and whether the problem is in your urethra, bladder, or prostate. If an infection is found, your prostate doctor will try to find out the type of bacteria involved so the the most effective anti microbial medication can be prescribed correctly.

Prostate Treatment & Prevention of Prostatis

For the case of acute infectious prostatis, you are likely prescribed antimicrobial medication for two weeks, almost all acute infections can be cured with oral antibiotics treatment.

For the case of chronic infectious prostatis, you need to take antimicrobial medication for a longer duration, from four to twelve weeks, and about half of all cases of chronic infectious prostatis clear up with this treatment. For prostatis cases that fail to respond to this prostate treatment, long-term, low-dose antimicrobial therapy may be recommended to relieve some level of prostate symptoms. In some cases, prostate removal of the prostate is suggested by the prostate dr.

For cases of noninfectious prostatis, the mainstream prostate dr. think that you don't need antimicrobial medication. A variety of treatments may be used from medication to surgery, even with behavioral therapies. Our prostate dr. in our prostatis center disagree with the mainstream treatments on noninfectious prostatis, we believe some stealthy bacteria is still hiding in the prostate gland and conventional medical lab procedures are not accurate enough to identify the bacteria.

Nowadays, it is very common to find patients who have recurrence of infectious and noninfectious prostatis after a long period of time.

For alternative prostatis treatments, you may find that hot bath or change of diet may help to alleviate prostate symptoms. Although there is no scientific evidence proving that alternative prostatis remedies are effective, they are not harmful and some patients experience relief from prostate symptoms and pain when using these alternative prostatis treatments.

Prostatis is a treatable disease, however, prostatis is very difficult to find a cure. If you visit prostate dr. in your area, you will most likely disappointed because your prostate dr. don't have effective treatment for your case, the only genuine treatment that could permanently cured prostatis is our prostatis injection treatment.
